A workshop (studio) is one of the highest forms of learning and experience in educational institutions and centers today. From the historic Beaux-Arts ateliers to the modern practices of Bauhaus and contemporary valuable experiences, workshops have always been considered a movement of change. In the workshop “A Slice of a Street,” we will explore the transformations of the past, present, and future of the street and create a space for “practicing change” in addition to field experiences.
In this case study, we will depict the city’s history through the examination and critique of architecture, art, and societal transformations, from the formation of the street to its future, in a tangible way.
Finally, we will search for ideas in a slice of distant horizons.
Course Topics:
- Analysis and interpretation of the fabric
