Object Design

This workshop aims to explore and practice fundamental concepts in product design through observation, study, and sketching of credible design works. Essentially, the Object Design workshop provides a platform where we attempt to examine the potentials within the realm of product design and, through learning methods of interpretation and creating a shared vocabulary, work towards transforming the current state into more desirable conditions.

The workshop will be presented in two layers: theoretical and technical. On one hand, it will teach the necessary software skills for designing and producing forms; on the other hand, it will educate students in reading, analyzing, and discussing design products.

Additionally, in parallel, the workshop will offer experiential lectures to familiarize participants with the construction process and materials, drawing on the instructor’s experiences in the field of fabrication.
